I think I have a pretty big internet identity footprint. I have a facebook, myspace (old) twitter, instagram and pinterest account. If you search a little harder there are things from my high school years like soccer pictures or articles about me, you can also find my address on there which I find a little scary. If you google my name my twitter, pinterest and myspace will pop up you can also go to images and there are many different pictures of me. I have made my facebook as private as it can go. I like to think that I keep my personal information off of most of my accounts that I use, after I graduate I will make the rest of my accounts private as well. My cousin is a 5th grade teacher and she has a separate facebook page using her teacher persona so she will accept students and her student's parents on that page and then she has the other for personal use. I will be doing this when I become a teacher because I don't want to hide everything from my students but there is also a need for a little privacy sometimes. I understand that teachers need clean footprints and that is definitely the way I feel as well but I feel like we need to live a normal life as well so having two separate facebooks will help you not to always be on pins and needles.
